Reject. Staal is 5 points better and 3 years younger. Staal had a decent season playing on a third line. Stastny might go up, but Staal wont go down enough to even make it an even trade.

Staal only had 12 goals, compared to 29 two years ago, and finished with 28 points. he had a very poor campaign last year and will drop to about an 83 to 84. stastny, on the other hand, had 24 goals, and 71 points, and sits at 1 point over a point a game in his first two seasons. if anything, i should be hanging onto the kid.

Staal played on the third line for most of the year. Stastny got a chance to play on the first line after Sakic went down. I'm still saying no.

Staal played on the top two lines for the first 3 months and only scored 2 goals, that's why he was demoted. but that's fine.
